The Actors Interview was created by Casting Director and Producer Joe Lorenzo. Joe has been to many other workshops in Los Angeles and New York. He felt uneasy about a few pertinent things such as the caliber of talent present at said workshops, the organization of the workshop, and lastly and most importantly, the lack of information given to the actor (i.e. feedback, coaching, consulting, etc). All too often Joe has seen actors come into an audition unprepared, not knowing what to expect, or even how to read material and make it their own. After seeing this time and time again Joe finally decided to create The Actors Interview.

The Actors Interview was created as a way for actors to take classes and workshops in a safe, educated, well organized, and well consulted environment!

The Actors Interview is a studio with On-Going Improv/ Cold Reading/ Scene Study Classes, Casting Director Workshops, and Agent Showcases. The Actors Interview puts actors in front of some of the most influential and hard working Agents and Casting Directors in today's industry. This is a unique opportunity that others claim, but WE deliver.

All agent workshops are run by Joe Lorenzo, and the first 90 Minutes consist of the following: rehearsal with scene partner, one on one coaching with Joe, and headshot consultation. In addition to the extended rehearsal and coaching period, all workshops/ classes include FEEDBACK for the actor. Agents are required to give written feedback on every actor. This feedback is then emailed to the actor within 48 hours of performance. We like to call it The Interview Advantage!

Lastly, all actors must PRE-SCREEN AUDITION with Joe Lorenzo, in his offices at NBC/Universal prior to attending their first workshop or class with The Actors Interview. The pre-screen process insures that the caliber of talent at all workshops will be high and worthy of being in front of the top level industry professionals provided through The Actors Interview. SOME OTHER WORKSHOPS WILL TAKE ALL ACTORS WILLING TO PAY THE WORKSHOP FEE; NOT US! IF YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING IN FRONT OF A CASTING DIRECTOR OR AGENT AT THIS TIME. YOU WILL BE NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE ACTORS INTERVIEW FAMILY.

The Actors Interview has a great reputation for bringing in the BEST INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS as guests to our workshops; and having some of the BEST TALENT in Los Angeles at our workshops. We have every intention of maintaining that credo.
